In brief

Three areas of activity.

Cannera is the private office of its founder. It deploys proprietary capital, advises governments, state-linked entities, and public companies on capital and strategic mandates, and executes cross-border transactions in physical commodities.

Execution

International trade

Structuring high-volume commodity movements and primary resource flows. We align institutional compliance, physical logistics, and capital structure to deliver tier-one transactions end to end.

Principal

Our own capital

Direct positions in companies and selected transactions. Where the structure calls for a corporate principal, we take that seat and apply an operator's background to govern and scale the asset.

Advisory

Markets and mandates

Listings, capital formation, and M&A, together with advisory to institutional funds and state-owned enterprises. Public-market disclosure standards, applied to private execution.

Domiciled in Canada. Operating across the corridors that connect North America, the Gulf, Central Asia, and East Asia.

Engagement protocol

Strict counterparty control.

All financial and legal execution flows through regulated Canadian institutions. Every counterparty, transaction, and jurisdiction is screened against OFAC, Government of Canada, UN Security Council, EU, and UK sanctions regimes, with ongoing monitoring for the life of the engagement.

No engagement proceeds with a sanctioned party, a sanctioned jurisdiction, or an undisclosed beneficial owner.
